A wide range of unique and valuable items will be available to the public when Block V Club conducts its first On-line Auction on Nov. 15.
The auction will run for 30 days, from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15. During that time alumni and fans will be able to bid on a wide assortment of items linked to the school's storied past. Over 135 items will be available on-line and listed in the following eight product categories: Celebrity Memorabilia, Clothing and Apparel, Golf, Once in a Lifetime, Sports Memorabilia, Tickets, Vacations and Travel, and Villanova Valuables.
"This is an opportunity for those who love and follow Villanova to participate in something unique and at the same time support our student-athletes." said Villanova Director of Athletics Vince Nicastro.
"As we approach the first anniversary of the Block V Club we were seeking an event that would offer alumni and friends something truly special," said Block V Club Director Whitey Rigsby, Villanova Class of 1978. "The on-line auction is just that. It is a means for us to help the student-athletes while also offering some great Holiday gifts and once in a lifetime items to our supporters."
