Transfer Regulations

If a student-athlete decides to transfer, there are several steps the student athlete will need to take:

  1. Email the Athletics Compliance Office about your intention to transfer. Please email your sport specific ACO contact, which is available on the contact us page.
  2. Once notification of transfer is communicated, compliance will place your name in the transfer portal.
  3. After your name enters the transfer portal, you will receive an email notification, verifying a coach’s ability to contact you.
  4. You will have the opportunity to receive financial aid at the next institution.
Villanova University has the ability to cancel your aid at the end of the semester in which you request to place your name in the transfer portal.
