Villanova and DePaul staged a tight battle with the winner locking up a home BIG EAST Tournament game next win. The Blue Demons picked up the victory with a goal in the 96th minute.

Joe Taylor converted his second penalty kick in three games and it was the difference in Villanova's 1-0 victory over Syracuse on a cold, blustery afternoon at the Soccer Complex.
