BETHLEHEM, PA. - The Villanova men's tennis team fell to Lehigh, 6-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon in Bethlehem. The Wildcats dropped to 4-7 on the season, while the Mountain Hawks improved to 7-3.
Lucas Kaster came away the lone singles winner for the Wildcats, defeating Evan Volkman, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 at No. 6. Kaster climbed to 6-3 overall on the season.
On the doubles side, Angel Rubio and Sean Gallagher paired together for the first time and brought home an 8-3 victory over Chris Wong and Jon Swanson at third doubles.
Villanova resumes BIG EAST action on Saturday at 10 a.m. when Connecticut visits the Villanova Tennis Complex.
