PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Villanova lost a 6-1 match to Rutgers in BIG EAST tennis action on Wednesday. Alex Villalobos rallied for a three-set victory at No. 6 singles to earn a point for the Wildcats. He moved to 6-6 in singles play for the season.
In doubles action, Aaron Kusza and Lucas Kaster registered an 8-5 margin of victory at No. 1 to climb to 6-5 on the season.
Villanova (5-8, 1-2) returns to the courts on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lafayette.
