VILLANOVA, PA. - The Villanova men's and women's tennis teams each picked up victories over Drexel in non-conference action on Thursday at the Villanova Tennis Complex. The Wildcat women earned a 7-0 sweep to improve to 12-9 overall, while the men posted a 5-2 decision and evened their record at 8-8.

Lindsey Puchyr picked up her ninth win of the season at No. 5 singles to help the Wildcats. Then in doubles, Morgan Flezzani and Mai Kokubo teamed for an 8-2 decision at No. 3.

On the men's side, Ricardo Baraldi and Alex Villalobos each notched singles and doubles wins to pace the Wildcats. Angel Rubio and Lucas Kaster also earned singles victories on the day.

Both teams return to action on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Towson.
