Villanova will travel to Morgantown, West Virginia, on Monday night to take on the 21st ranked West Virginia Mountaineers. The Wildcats enter play with a 5-2 overall record, while the Mountaineers are 6-1 on the year. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
The Wildcats enters play at West Virginia riding a three-game winning streak. The streak includes wins over James Madison (84-73), Temple (88-58) and La Sallle (66-54). On the opposite side, Villanova enters play at West Virginia having lost five straight to the Mountaineers. In the last meeting between the teams, West Virginia tallied a 64-57 win over the Wildcats in the second round of the WNIT on March 24, 2019. Villanova's last win in the series came on Jan. 17, 2009, in a 54-52 home victory.
Beginning with last Tuesday's 66-54 win at La Salle, Villanova is in the midst of playing three consecutive games on the road. The Wildcats will also play at West Virginia on Dec. 1 and at Georgetown on Dec. 4. Villanova is currently 2-0 in road games this season with victories at James Madison and La Salle.

Brynn McCurry has been outstanding for the Wildcats in the last three games. In the three contests versus James Madison, Temple and La Salle, McCurry has scored 49 points on 17-of-29 shooting (.586) to go with 20 rebounds and 14 assists. She has tied her career-high in points twice during the three-game stretch with 18 points against James Madison and La Salle. McCurry currently ranks second on the team in scoring at 9.6 points per game and she leads the way in rebounding at 5.4 per game.
Villanova has out-scored the opponent by a 189-81 margin from the three-point line through the first seven games of the season. The Wildcats are 63-of-178 from three-point range (.354), while the opponents are 27-of-114 (.237).
Jasmine Bascoe leads the team in three-point field goals made with 17, while
Kennedy Henry has 12,
Ryanne Allen has 11 and
Brooke Bender has 10.
Bascoe leads the Wildcats in scoring with a 16.7 points per game average, while McCurry is the team's top rebounder. Henry has a team-high 17 steals and a team-best 13 blocks.
