Women's Results Men's Results

Haverford, Pa.-Frances Koons (Allentown, Pa.) finished second (17:07.60) in the three mile women's run at the Haverford Invitational at Haverford College on Friday, Sept. 23. Steve Cornell (East Stroudsburg, Pa.) was the men's team's top finisher in the four mile run, coming in seventh with a time of 20:18.80.

Three other Villanova women finished in the top ten. Zita Mezei (Mezokaovesd, Hungary) ran in 17:38.30 to place third, Bridget Akard (Carmel, Ind.) placed fifth with a time of 17:54.50, and Casey Nelson (Flemington, N.J.) was tenth with a time of 18:30.60.

For the men, Andrew Keino (Eldoret, Kenya), Craig Segal (Holmdel, N.J.) and Sam Pawluk (East Richmond, B.C.) came in tenth, 11th, and 12th with times of 20:25.00, 20:26.20, and 20:27.90, respectively.

The Wildcats next compete on Oct. 1 at the Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
