The Villanova Office of Strategic Communications appreciates your interest in our athletics programs and look forward to working with you. Listed below are the general rules and guidelines for coverage of Villanova student-athletes. These policies have been instituted in an effort to assist both the media and the student-athletes. We appreciate your observance of these standard and look forward to seeing you on campus throughout the year.

Football Credentials: All credential requests should be directed to Dean Kenefick via e-mail at dean.kenefick@villanova.edu. Credentials must be requested at least one week prior to the game. Only accredited members of the media will receive credentials for any game. Credentials will be issued in accordance with CAA Football and NCAA guidelines and are granted at the discretion of the Office of Strategic Communications. Credentials for games at Villanova Stadium may be picked up two hours prior to kickoff at the press window, located at the base of the Villanova Stadium press box. A valid form of photo identification will be requested in order to pick up credentials. Photographers and film crews who are granted a credential may work the sidelines between the 35-yard line and the endzone in both directions. Photographers and film crews on the sidelines and endzones assume responsibility for all risks.

Men's Basketball Credentials: All credential requests should be directed to Mike Sheridan via e-mail at michael.sheridan@villanova.edu. Credentials must be requested at least one week prior to the game. Only accredited members of the media will receive credentials for any game. Space on press row at the Pavilion is limited and the issuance of a credential does not guarantee a seat. Credentials will be issued in accordance with BIG EAST and NCAA guidelines and are granted at the discretion of the Office of Strategic Communications. Credentials for games at the Pavilion may be picked up prior to the game at the press gate, located at the main entrance to the Pavilion. For games at Wells Fargo Center, credentials should be picked up at the press entrance, located on the west side of the building. A valid form of photo identification will be requested in order to pick up credentials. Photographers and film crews who are granted a credential may work the baselines adjoining the press tables and do so at their own risk. Please note: photographers are not permitted to shoot in the baseline area adjoining the team benches. Photography or film of either team's bench area during a timeout is prohibited. In addition, no cameras are to be mounted on the backboards or any other location without the express consent of the Office of Strategic Communications

Credentials will be issued in accordance with BIG EAST and NCAA guidelines and are granted at the discretion of the Office of Strategic Communications. Credentials for games at Villanova Stadium may be picked up 90 minutes prior to the game at the press window, located at the base of the Villanova Stadium press box. A valid form of photo identification will be requested in order to pick up credentials. Photographers and film crews who are granted a credential may work the sidelines between the 35-yard line and the endzone in both directions. Photographers and film crews on the sidelines and endzones assume responsibility for all risks.

Postgame Interviews: Villanova head coaches and student-athletes will be available to members of the media following a mandatory cooling off period following the game. Postgame requests may be made by contacting a member of the strategic communications staff.

Non-Gameday Interview Policy: All requests for interviews with Villanova coaches and/or student-athletes may be requested by contacting the strategic communications contact for that sport. No interviews will be conducted on game days and Villanova locker rooms are closed to the media.
