Football to Make Six Television Appearances in 2013

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) today announced the 2013 football television schedule. The Villanova Wildcats will have six of their 11 games televised, including two contests set for national television.

Villanova's two nationally televised games will be the season opener at Boston College that can be seen on ESPNews and the October 12 game at Towson which will be carried live on the NBC Sports Network.

The other four Wildcat television games will all be on the NBC Sports Regional Networks which includes Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, Comcast SportsNet New England and Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. These four games include home dates with Stony Brook (Sept. 21) and Penn (Sept. 28) and away contests at New Hampshire (Oct. 19) and James Madison (Nov. 2).

Villanova returns 16 starters and 35 letterwinners from last year's team that went 8-4 overall and earned a share of the CAA championship with a 6-2 league record. The Wildcats earned their fourth NCAA playoff appearance in five seasons in 2012.
