RICHMOND, Va. - Villanova sophomore running back Aaron Forbes (Newburgh, N.Y.) has been named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week. Forbes earns the honor for his play in Saturday's 24-13 win over No. 23 Albany.

In the victory, Forbes carried a career-high 24 times for a career-best 151 yards and two touchdowns. This was his second career 100-yard rushing game. He also eclipsed the 100-yard plateau at Lafayette on Sept. 24 when he ran for 111 yards.

After eight games, Forbes has tallied 79 carries for 600 yards (7.6 avg.) and a team-high seven touchdowns.

Forbes and the Wildcats will have a bye this Saturday and will return to action on Nov. 5 with a game at Maine.
