Clearwater, Fla. - The Villanova Wildcats softball team (4-7, 0-0 BIG EAST) continued play Friday morning at the USF Invite series as they fell to Western Michigan by a 6-0 margin.

A four run sixth inning for the Broncos was the key difference in this morning's game. Triple by WMU's Sabrina Gamboa broke the game open.

Kate Poppe (3-5) took the loss for Villanova. Lauren Hanna went 2-for-3 for Villanova. Brittany Husk, Dana Morris, Nikki Alden, Mackenzie Tilles, and Shea Palmer each collected a hit for the Wildcats.
