NEW YORK, N.Y. - Senior captain Luis Miranda was named to the BIG EAST Notable Performances Honor Roll as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Luis Miranda was unstoppable this past week. He went into a three-set match against Loyola Maryland to win 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 at the No. 1 singles spot. He also won his doubles match with Will Elmore 6-3 against Loyola. Miranda clinched the match for the Wildcats with another three-set match win against La Salle. He won 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 and also won his doubles match 6-2, again combined with Elmore.

Miranda and the rest of the men's tennis team returns to action at St. John's on Friday.
