Delaney Switzer.
Angela Giampolo came up with the bases loaded and drew a walk.

Florida A&M had their chance as they had an RBI infield single with the bases loaded in the seventh inning. However, Rauch was able to get a groundout to first baseman
Julia DaCosta.
Rauch started on the mound for the Cats and improved her record to 5-2 on the season. She pitched a complete game allowing just five hits, one run, one walk, and struck out five.
FIU
It was a promising start for Villanova as Giampolo and Rauch led off the game with back to back singles, however there was not much offense after that.
Anissa Amarillas got the start and delivered with six innings of 5 hit, and one run ball. The one earned run she gave up came in the third inning on a single to left field.
Jordan Olivarez singled in the sixth inning with two outs, but the Wildcats could not get any two out magic going. FIU added three runs in the sixth to stretch their lead to 4-0. Ducar doubled with two outs in the top of the seventh but there was nothing else doing as the Cats dropped the second game of the day.
Villanova will play their last game of the Madeira Beach Invitational on Sunday against Detroit Mercy at 2:00 PM.
