New York, N.Y.- Sophomore Matt Campbell was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week as announced by the conference office this morning.  Last weekend the Wildcats defeated Delaware 19-10 to pick up their third straight win.

Campbell on Saturday had a game high four goals and two assists for pick up six. Campbell scored on every shot on goal he took against the Blue Hens.

Villanova will now take part in the Philly 4 Lacrosse Classic this weekend.  First the Wildcats will take on the Penn Quakers at Franklin Field Friday night at 7:30 P.M.  then on Sunday will head to Hawk Hill to take on the Drexel Dragons at 12:00 P.M.
