Villanova, Pa.- Villanova men's lacrosse head coach Mike Corrado and his staff have announced the 2022 season on Wednesday afternoon. This season the Wildcats will play a total of 13 games, eight inside Villanova Stadium.

Villanova will open the season a pair of road games, starting off at Penn State on February 12^th.  This will be the fourth time in the last five seasons that the two teams have opened against each other. The following Saturday the Wildcats will head to New Haven, Connecticut to take on the Yale Bulldogs. Villanova defeated Yale during their last meeting when the Bulldogs were ranked #1. This was the first time in program history the Wildcats defeated a #1 ranked team.

On February 26^th Villanova will open at home against Fairfield and then will travel to Brown for a midweek matchup in Rhode Island on March 1^st. The Wildcats return home for four straight games over the course of four straight Saturday's.  Hofstra will be the first game on March 5^th, followed by back-to-back Philadelphia teams in Penn (March 12^th) and Drexel (March 19^th), and the final home game of the stretch will be against Delaware on the 26^th to close out non-conference play.

The Wildcats will play all league games in the month of April starting off at St. John's on the 2^nd. On the 9^th and 16^th Villanova will host Denver and then Providence, respectively. The following weekend Villanova will travel to Milwaukee to face Marquette on the 23^rd and will close out the regular season on Friday the 29^th at home against Georgetown.

Georgetown will be the host team for this year's BIG EAST Tournament scheduled for May 5^th and 7^th. The top four teams in the league standings will face off, with the winner getting the automatic qualifying bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Single season tickets are on sale for $60 for an adult and $40 for a child (12 and under).  Also on sale are single season parking pass for the A2 lot for $100.  Tailgating is permitted in the A2 lot for all home men's lacrosse games.
