EDISON, N.J. – After a 15-goal outing this past weekend,
Kaysie Stuba has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
This is the third weekly honor for the La Grange, Ill. Native in her Villanova career, the other two coming as Rookie of the Week back in 2019.
Stuba the team with 15 goals, four on penalty attempts, on 34 shots in a 1-1 weekend at home for the Wildcats. The senior racked up 17 points with two assists, both of those coming against Siena. She drew 13 exclusions in those four games with only two whistled against her. Defensively, she made six steals with four field blocks.
With her performances, she holds the program record for single-season goals (87), points (134) and shots (191).
Villanova is back at home again on Saturday, hosting Wagner at 9 a.m. and Iona at 1 p.m.
