SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Wildcats won their first match against Bucknell on the road in a close 4-3 victory.
The match began with two Wildcat doubles teams falling to Bucknell. The junior duo of captain
Josh Robinson and
Noah Winton took a 6-3 doubles win over the Bison's team of Nick Mueller and Michael Owen.

Bucknell claimed the first team point of the match.

Starting off at number one singles was Robinson who took on previous Harrison Gold. Gold put up a fight and forced Robinson into a third set, but the Wildcat ended up taking the 7-6, 3-6, 6-3 win.

Tighe Brunetti stepped up to the number two singles spot to take on Amar Tahirovic and displayed a strong performance with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.

Cooper Gordon went head-to-head with Tim Zelikovsky taking a swift 6-4, 6-0 win over the Bison.

Eitan Khromchenko and sophomore
Trey Fourticq were taken down in their singles matches resulting in Bucknell evening the team scores to 3-3.

Ryan Nguyen solidified the win for the Wildcats in the five spot when he battled against Oscar Moreno de Vega coming out on top with a 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 win.

The Wildcats return to action on tomorrow Sunday February 5 to take on the Penn State at 3 pm.
