Â
Golf
Ryan Pamer
Senior, Hudson, Ohio
Â
Pamer was the top Villanova finisher in a strong team showing at the Peoples Championship in St. Simons Island, Ga., last week. He tied for 12
th place out of more than 120 golfers in the field and carded a total score of 210 (-3) over 54 holes. Pamer got out to a hot start with a round of 67 (-4) on the first day of the tournament and he would eventually go on to record 38 pars and 10 birdies on the weekend. The Wildcats tied for fifth place out of 21 teams in a big field at the Peoples Championship and shot even par (852) as a team over the 54 holes of golf.
Â
Men's Lacrosse
Luke Raymond
Graduate Student, Attack/Midfield, Crownsville, Md.
Â
Raymond has scored at least three goals in four of his seven games played this season after doing so just once in 47 career games played before this season. His last outing came at home against Towson this past weekend when he scored a team-high three goals. Raymond has emerged as the Wildcats offensive leader with 18 goals scored and 20 points so far on the season. He is converting his shots at a .474 clip and has taken 38 shots in total. Raymond has also tallied 12 ground balls and four caused turnovers on the year.
Â
Softball
Jaclyn Morra
Sophomore, Infield, West Babylon, N.Y.
Â
Morra collected the second and third three-hit games of her collegiate career just three days apart this week. Over four games total in a busy week on the diamond, she batted .438 (7-for-16) with a double, two runs scored and three runs batted in. Morra helped spark the Wildcats to a 10-2 win over Monmouth in the home opener on Wednesday afternoon when she went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI and a run scored. She also went 3-for-4 with a run scored in the middle game of a three-game set against BIG EAST foe Butler. Morra is batting .267 with a .345 on-base percentage in 27 games played this season.
Â

th place finish in the preliminary round of the three-meter diving competition and came in 31
st in the preliminary round on the one-meter board. Warson was the silver medalist in each of those events at the BIG EAST Championships last month and garnered all-conference honors in each event.
Â
Men's Tennis
Cooper Gordon
Senior, Milton, Ga.
Â
Villanova split a pair of matches during the week, and Gordon teamed up with junior teammate
Ethan Carr for wins at No. 1 doubles in each match. The doubles tandem posted a 6-4 win over Creighton for the Wildcats only victory of the day against their conference foes. They also scored a 7-6 win at the top doubles spot against Loyola (Md.) over the weekend, with Gordon adding a win at No. 1 singles in straight sets (6-0, 6-1) to help Villanova earn a 6-1 team decision over the Greyhounds.
Â
Women's Tennis
Maggie Gehrig
Senior, Charlotte, N.C.
Â
In the team's only match of the week, Gehrig posted wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles to help the Wildcats forge a 5-2 road win over Loyola (Md.). She won her singles match in straight sets by scores of 6-2 and 6-4. Villanova started the day by sweeping the doubles matches against the Greyhounds, with Gehrig teaming up with senior
Emi Callahan for a 7-5 win at the No. 1 spot.
Men's Indoor Track & Field
Marco Langon
Senior, Distance, Raritan, N.J.
Â
Langon made history at the NCAA Championships this past weekend where he came in second in the 5000 meters and third in the 3000 meters. He earned first team All-America honors in both events and became only the second men's athlete in school history to finish in the top three of two individual events in the same year at the indoor national championships. His runner-up finish in the 5K is the best-ever indoor result for a Villanova runner in that event, beating his own sixth place finish a year ago. Langon now has eight career All-America honors spanning the cross country, indoor and outdoor seasons. That is one away from tying the men's program record of nine All-America accolades which is held by three athletes.
Â
Women's Indoor Track & Field
Lizzie Martell
Graduate Student, Middle Distance, Essex Junction, Vt.
Â
A season worth of All-America recognition ended exactly that way for Martell who was an NCAA Championships qualifier in the 800 meters. She competed at a national championship meet for the first time in her collegiate career and posted a time of 2:07.65 in the semifinal heats of the 800 meters in Fayetteville, Ark. over the weekend. Her efforts earned her second team All-America recognition for the 2026 indoor season. During the year, Martell broke the indoor school record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.70 in Seattle last month. She also ran the third-fastest 500 meters in school history (1:11.19) and ran the 800 meter leg of the distance medley relay which set an indoor school record with a time of 10:49.98.
Â

Â

Villanova added wins over La Salle (14-13) and LIU (19-12) during the week. Hull was the leading scorer against LIU with seven goals to go along with two blocks, and she tied for the team lead with four goals scored in the overtime win against the Seahawks. Hull drew four exclusions against Wagner and eight versus La Salle, with her stat line against the Explorers also including two goals and four steals.
