Assistant coach Kelly Broadway (former Driscoll) returns to her third season with the Wildcats. In addition to her on field coaching duties, Broadway also serves as the recruiting coordinator for the Wildcat program.
Broadway arrived at Villanova from Temple University where she was an assistant from 2011-14, including serving as the Associate Head Coach in 2014. In 2013, she helped the Owls to a 14-6 overall record, a Top 20 national ranking and a win over No. 6 Penn State. In 2014, Temple tallied a 14-7 record, a Top 20 ranking throughout the season and a berth in the Big East Conference championship game.
As a player, Broadway was a standout goalkeeper at Old Dominion University from 2006-09 where she was a two-time first team All-CAA honoree and two-time second team All-Region performer. Broadway finished her career at Old Dominion with 25 Career Shutouts. Broadway was named to the USA Outdoor National Team from May 2010- June 2011. She was selected to represent the U.S. in the NFHCA Division I Senior All-Star game in November, 2010, and was also on the roster for the U.S./Canada series and the U.S./Japan series in 2011. In March 2013, Broadway was named to the USA Indoor National team and represented the USA in the Can/Am Games in August 2013.
Broadway earned a bachelor's degree in 2010 from Old Dominion in Double Majoring in Criminal Justice and Sociology, before obtaining a Master's degree in Applied Sociology from ODU in 2011. Additionally, Broadway earned a second Master's degree from Temple in Liberal Arts in 2013.
A native of West Chester, Pa. and graduate of Villa Maria Academy, Broadway and her husband, Norris, reside in Philadelphia, Pa.
