Career: Has overall records of 16-37 in singles play and 10-35 in doubles competition ... ITA Scholar Athlete as a freshman and sophomore (2023-24) ... Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and Athletic Director's Honor Roll each time eligible.

2024-25: Posted a 7-17 overall singles record and a 5-19 record in doubles matches … Played the majority of his singles matches in the third flight, going 5-7 … Played 16 of 18 doubles matches in the top flight, recording a 5-11 record.
 
2023-24: Played a large role for the Wildcats as a freshman... Finished with a 9-20 record in singles matches... Went 5-16 in doubles play... Paired most with Lukas Choi going 2-6 in eight doubles matches... Won the first collegiate matchup he played in doubles competition over Loyola Maryland with Thomas Wakefield... ITA Scholar Athlete... Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team for 2023-24... Selected to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll twice. 

Brunswick School: Played varsity tennis for four years and was a senior captain... Academic High Honor Roll all four years... Had a combined singles record at the one and two spot of 30-4... Received sportsmanship award as a junior... Received the Hartch Family Award as a senior for being an great tennis player, leader and hard work throughout high school.

Personal: Born on 07/17/2004 in Rye, New York... Son of Michael and Courtney Monahan... Two siblings named Olivia and Lauren... Chose Villanova because of the amazing balance of both rigorous academics and athletics. Also Villanova's beautiful campus, amazing class sizes and welcoming environment.
