2018-19: As a freshman, Ryan competed in six events mainly in the backstroke and freestyle events. At the BIG EAST Championships, she competed in the 100-yard freestyle and recorded a season best time of 53.55. Her other top times of the season game at the Princeton-Rutgers tri meet where she clocked in at 59.05 in the 100-back and 2:07.46 in the 200-back.

Rosary High School: Ryan was a four time varsity letter winner and competed in the backstroke and freestyle. She was the captain of the team and her team was state champions three times. Ryan was a two time state champion in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay. She was also a Scholastic All-American and a school record holder in the 200 medley relay, 400 free relay and 200 free relay. Ryan was also a Winter Junior National Qualifier and NCSA Junior National Qualifier seven times. She graduated as the Salutatorian of Rosary, was a member of the National Honor Society and was on High Honor Roll all four years. 

Personal: Ryan is the daughter of Tim and Heidi Ryan and has an older sister Allison. In her free time she enjoys doing mission work and chose to attend Villanova because of the family atmosphere and opportunities it presents.
