One-Meter Dive: 225.52 (1/19/19 Richmond)
Three-Meter Dive: 234.37 (1/16/19 La Salle)
2018-19: As a sophomore, Daine competed at eight meets including her first BIG EAST Championship. Daine’s best performances came against Richmond for the second year in a row and La Salle. In the 1-meter dive she scored a personal best 225.52 against Richmond. While competing against the Explorers she scored a 234.37 in the 3-meter for a season high and new career high. At the BIG EAST Championships, she competed on the high board where she captured an 8th place finish with a preliminary score of 223.00 and a final score of 399.85.
2017-18: In her freshman year, Daine competed at the Drexel Invite, the Rutgers Penta Meet, Big AL Open, Princeton, UConn and Richmond meets in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive. She recorded top scores at Richmond (1/26) in both the one and three meter dive. In the 1-meter she recorded 217.42 and in the three-meter she recorded 233.50.
Catholic: Four year varsity letter winner…Two time Connecticut Class S State Champion (2014, 2015)…All-FCIAC Diving Team (2013-2016)…Smith College Book Award (2016)… The Connecticut Association of Schools Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Award (2017).
Personal:Born April 27, 1999 in Greenwich, Connecticut to Jim and Kim Daine….Father Jim played football at Columbia University…Her older brother, Dillon, played baseball at Bard College…Plans to major in Political Science…Enjoys going to the beach and traveling…Chose Villanova because of the ideal combination of size, proximity to a major city, and very welcoming students who seem to have a strong sense of service and community.
