Liz Sturtridge

Liz Louidor

Elizabeth S. Louidor serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Villanova University, a position she has held since June 2022. In addition to providing healthcare support for the Water Polo and Football programs, Liz plays an active role in advancing departmental initiatives and contributing to the overall mission of Villanova Athletics Health and Performance.
 
Prior to joining the Villanova University Sports Medicine team, Liz served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Troy University from October 2019 through May 2022. Working primarily with Troy Softball, she also served as the sole athletic trainer responsible for the care of both the Trojans' Men's and Women's Golf teams. During her undergraduate education, Liz, Liz completed an internship as an athletic training student with the University of Michigan Football program, gaining valuable experience in the care of Division I student-athletes.
 
Liz earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Grand Valley State University in 2019 and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Troy University in 2022. Her professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder injuries in throwing athletes, prevention of exertional sickling in athletes with sickle cell trait, and emergency care in athletic training.
 
Originally from Marysville, Michigan, Liz currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Moe, who is also an athletic trainer. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, indoor rock climbing, and reading romance novels.
