VILLANOVA, Pa. - Former Wildcat basketball player Kevin Cox, was named Administrative Assistant on Thursday, July 16, by head men's basketball coach Steve Lappas. Cox, who was a four-year letter winner (1992-96), returns to his alma mater after a two-year stint in the business world. After earning his Master's in business administration during his senior season at Villanova, Cox accepted a position in the auditing department of Ernst & Young. Prior to his return to the Main Line, he was employed by Platinum Technologies in Philadelphia, Pa. "Kevin is a wonderful addition to our staff. He was a dedicated and hard-working player, we look forward to his contributions in his new role, " said Head Coach Steve Lappas.

While at Villanova, Cox appeared in 43 games and tallied 30 career points. A walk-on for three years, he was awarded a scholarship for his final season. A native of Arlington Heights, Ill., Cox currently resides in Ardmore, Pa.
