Villanova Athletics is proud to present the Villanova P.A.W.S program: Providing Athletes With Support. The P.A.W.S. program helps to ensure the best quality experience for Villanova student-athletes, both in the classroom and on the playing fields. Wildcat student-athletes represent the best in athletic and academic achievements, and Villanova is proud to recognize these student leaders.

This week's P.A.W.S. honors go to Wildcat junior Gary Buchanan, a men's basketball standout from St. Louis, Missouri and St. Thomas More High School. On Saturday, Dec. 1, versus Bucknell, Gary scored a game-high 24 points to help lead Villanova to a 69-45 victory at the Pavilion. For the season, Buchanan is tops on the team in scoring at 21.8 points per game for the 3-1 Wildcats
