Villanova Athletics is proud to present the Villanova P.A.W.S program: Providing Athletes With Support. The P.A.W.S. program helps to ensure the best quality experience for Villanova student-athletes, both in the classroom and on the playing fields. Wildcat student-athletes represent the best in athletic and academic achievements, and Villanova is proud to recognize these student leaders.

This week's P.A.W.S. honors go to Wildcat senior guard Mimi Riley, a women's basketball standout from Bala Cynwyd, Pa., and Archbishop Carroll. On Saturday Jan. 12, versus defending national champion Notre Dame at the Pavilion, Mimi hit the game-winning shot with four-tenths of a second remaining in the contest to lift Villanova to a 60-59 victory. She finished the game with 12 points on six-of-nine shooting, to go along with five assists.
