VILLANOVA, Pa. - Junior forward Jason Fraser was examined by Villanova Team Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rob Good this morning. Good aspirated Fraser's left knee and placed him on anti-inflammatory medication. Fraser hopes to resume practicing with the team Friday.

Fraser played 15 minutes in Villanova's 70-50 victory over Monmouth on Tuesday night and then experienced discomfort in his left knee following the game. This is the same knee Dr. Good performed an arthoscopic procedure on back on Oct. 22.

Villanova returns to action this Saturday in a Philadelphia Big Five contest against La Salle University at the Palestra at 3:00 p.m.
