PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Villanova University punter Zach Ugarte has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. Ugarte earns the distinction for his play in Saturday's 21-20 upset win over No. 4 James Madison. In the victory, Ugarte averaged 42.0 yards on seven punts, including a long of 48 yards. He also placed two punts inside the 20-yard line.

After 10 games in 2006, Ugarte has recorded 42 punts for 1,612 yards for an average of 38.4 yards per punt. His career-long punt of 59 yards came against Towson on Oct. 21. Ugarte is a native of Ocklawaha, Fla., and is a 2006 graduate of Trinity Catholic High School.

Ugarte and the Wildcats will close out the 2006 season on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Delaware. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
