Austin, Tex. - Villanova University competed at the Texas Relays in Austin, Tex. over this weekend. Monique Morgan and the men's 4x400m relay team each turned in excellent performances for the Wildcats.

Morgan ran the fastest 100mH time in the NCAA East Region during preliminaries. Her time of 13.35 earned her fourth place. She ran 13.41 in the finals.

The men's 4x400m relay team placed second in its heat with a time of 3:09.14. That time is a season's best for the team of John Wilsman, Carl Hansen, Drew Eckman and Elvis Lewis.
