JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. - Villanova (310-298--608;+32) remains in 11th place in the strong 15-team field at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate being played at the par-72, 7,147-yard Blackthorn Country Club. The Wildcats are five shots behind the host, Eastern Tennessee State University with 18 holes remaining in the event.

Still pacing Villanova is junior Michael Kania (Haverford, Pa.) who is in a tie for 14th after two rounds with a total of 72-75--147 (+3).

Senior Brian Colbert (Cary, Ill.) shot the best round of the day for a Wildcat with a second round 73 to bring his two round total to 151 (+7). He is in a tie for 33rd.

Rounding out the top five for Villanova are junior Steve Skurla (Wheaton, Ill.)(78-76--154;+10), junior Derek Jones (Lower Burrell, Pa.)(82-74--156;+12), and senior Bret McGaughey (Laguna Beach, Calif.)(83-81--164;+20), which puts them in a tie for 46th, 56th, and 76th, respectively.

North Carolina State leads the team competition with a 583 (+7) and NC State's Mark McMillen is in the individual lead with a 140 (-4).
