ATLANTA, Ga. - During this weekend's trip to Georgia the women's soccer team has had a great deal of support from Villanova alumni in the area and on Saturday afternoon enjoyed a team lunch hosted by the Atlanta Chapter of the Villanova University Alumni Association.

Chapter President Greg Megan '79 addressed the team and told the Wildcats that all Villanova alumni are extremely proud of the team's success not only on the field but also academically. He also spoke about their time as Villanova students being just the beginning of a lifetime relationship with the University.

Villanova head coach John Byford presented Megan with a memento in recognition of the team's appreciation for all of the support this weekend. The Wildcats began their trip with a 3-2 win at Georgia State last night and are now preparing to play Georgia on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Athens.
