VILLANOVA, Pa. – Three Wildcats round out the incoming list of transfers for Villanova Women's Soccer as it heads into the 2026 season.
This latest batch of transfers includes a defender, a forward and midfielder, rounding out the roster for head coach
Samar Azem's team. The 'Cats are just under two months away from kicking off the 2026 campaign.
Meghan White | Graduate | Defender
Holtsville, N.Y. | St. John the Baptist DHS | Bucknell University
White comes to the Main Line after spending the last four seasons at Bucknell where she missed the most recent campaign due to injury. While with the Bison, she started in all 60 of her appearances, 30 of those being shutouts, logging 11 points on three goals and five assists with 28 shot attempts and 15 on frame and over 5,000 minutes of action in three seasons. She was an All-Patriot League Third Team selection in 2024 after playing the full 90+ minutes in all but two games, including the final 14 games of that season. In her time in Lewisburg, White saw three Patriot League Tournament berths, including championship titles in 2022 and 2023, a 2024 regular season PL crown and two NCAA Tournament appearances. She was a part of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll all four years and made the league's All-Tournament Team in 2022.
Prior to Bucknell, White was a three-sport athlete at St. John the Baptist in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. She was a three-time All-League player and two-time MVP on the pitch while garnering two All-League nods in basketball where she also played in the 2019 State Finals and won the league title. In lacrosse, she was a two-time All-League player and a nominee for The Butch Dellecave Award that recognizes top Suffolk County, New York high school seniors who excel in athletics, academics, and community service. She also played club soccer for SUSA on the girls 2004 ECNL team, playing on three league championship teams.
Azem on White: "Meghan plays with an edge. She's athletic, tough and has been a leader and an impact player on a consistent championship program. She knows what it takes to win and she does so in her actions every day. Her speed, her tenacity and her ability to create an attack for us as a defender will be a tremendous asset to a backline that is hard to beat."
Ryley Dixon | Junior | Forward
Pilesgrove, N.J. | Homeschooled | Goldey-Beacom College
Dixon spent the last two seasons at Goldey-Beacom where she was a dual-sport athlete on the soccer and track and field teams. On the field, she made 29 starts in 35 appearances, scoring 39 points on 14 goals and 11 assists. She landed 52 of her 97 shots on frame in her two years with the Lightning and tallied two game-winning goals during the 2025 season that saw her also earn All-CACC First Team honors. On the track, she earned Rookie of the Year honors from both the CACC and GBC in 2025. She was a two-time CACC All-Conference runner with second team honors in 2025 and first team honors in 2026. The 400m and 200m champion for the CACC in 2026, she was a two-time All-Region runner in the 200m and earned All-Region status in the 400m. She has the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x1, 4x2, 4x4, and Sprint Medley school records at GBC.
Prior to college, she played club soccer at Sporting Athletic Girls Academy for coach Julie King.
Azem on Dixon: "Ryley is a dynamic forward whose elite pace and intensity thrive on running at defenders with the ball at her feet. Her striker's instincts in front of goal and relentless competitive mentality make her a dangerous finisher who competes for every possession, every goal, and every win."
Kaydee Amorosa | Sophomore | Midfield
Houston, Texas | St. Agnes Academy | Texas Tech
Amorosa comes to Villanova after a year at Texas Tech with a Red Raider squad that made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season. She played in one contest, logging five minutes of action in a 4-0 win over San Diego State.
Before that, Amorosa was a soccer and track athlete at St. Agnes Academy, also playing club soccer with Albion Hurricanes where she was an ECNL First Team All-Conference player. She was a two-year soccer captain at St. Agnes and was the VYPE Private School Player of the Year in 2025. She earned First Team All-State honors from 2023-2025 and was a part of the 2020 Track State Championship team.
