VILLANOVA, Pa. - Arrangements have been announced for Villanova track & field alum Charlie Hammock, who passed away last week. Hammock's funeral will be this Friday, February 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church located at 20th and Christian Street in Philadelphia.

Burial will be at Greenmount Cemetery at 4301 North Front Street in Philadelphia. The repeass will be at Asbury United Methodist Church at 2220 Woodlynne Avenue, Woodlynne, N.J.

Hammock was a Penn Relays champion during his Villanova career and ran the third leg on the 1961 shuttle hurdle relay which captured a Championship of America title.
