Sept. 18, 2014 In advance of the many Parents' Weekend events that will be taking place on campus, including Saturday afternoon's football game against James Madison, fans are encouraged to sign up for text alerts that will provide up-to-the-minute information on traffic and parking on and near campus throughout the weekend.

Public Safety is creating a text group for use this weekend. Parents can text "VU EVENT" (without the quote marks) to 411-912 to receive informative up-to-the-minute texts about parking on campus and other important/emergency information. The text group will be purged on Monday so that unwanted/unnecessary texts will not be received following the weekend.
