Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group Expands Villanova Partnership

Sept. 5, 2014 Villanova IMG Sports Marketing has announced that Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group has expanded its partnership with Wildcat Athletics for the 2014-15 season. Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group consists of Kelly's Taproom, Flip & Bailey's, and Garrett Hill Ale House, all located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

During all Villanova football and men's basketball home games, Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group will nominate a serviceman or servicewoman who is currently or has recently served in the United States Armed Forces to be recognized during an in-game promotional segment.

"Our expanded partnership with Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group helps honor the brave men and women who are fighting for our freedom every day," said Kevin Levy, Associate General Manager of Villanova IMG Sports Marketing, the university's multimedia rights partner. "Kelly's Taproom, Flip & Bailey's, and Garrett Hill Ale House do so much on a daily basis to support our troops. We are honored to recognize these hometown heroes at every Villanova football and men's basketball home game."

Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group is also involved with the Philadelphia Treats for Troops program where donations are raised for care packages to be shipped overseas to active military personnel. In conjunction with Villanova's partnership with Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group, Villanova IMG Sports Marketing will be making a donation in the amount of $2,000 to Philadelphia Treats for Troops over the next two years.

"The land of the free because of the brave hangs on the front door of our house every day and we are proud to support the brave servicemen and women who make everything we have a reality," stated Gene Mitchell, President of Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group.

The first Bryn Mawr Restaurant Group military salute game is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th when the Wildcats host Fordham in the football home opener at Villanova Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
