Final Results

Colts Neck, N.J. - The Villanova men's golf team captured their first team title of the season by winning the Seahawk Shootout Thursday with an overall team score of 308.

The shootout took place at Trump National Colts Neck.

Junior Lucas Trim and senior Luke Waggoner both finished tied for first carding an 18-hole 74. Andrew MacMillan, who has had a strong spring campaign, placed tied for fourth with a 77.

Zach Egermayer shot an 83 and finished tied for 10th while Will Byrne placed 13th with an 87.

Host Wagner College finished second with a team total of 310. St. Francis (N.Y.) finished third with a 363 team score.

Villanova will return to play this Saturday as they travel to New Haven, Conn. for the Yale Spring Invitational.

Tee times will be off holes 1 and 10 and they will play continuously for 36 holes. The invite is being held at The Course at Yale. The course plays par 70 at a length of 6749 yards. It has a slop of 139 and a rating of 72.9.
