Golf completes play at City 6 Championship

Final Results

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.
- The Villanova men's golf team wrapped up play on the first and final day of the City 6 Championship. The Wildcats finished tied for fourth in after scoring a round of 305 (+25). This was the final tournament of the fall season.


Host Drexel won the tournament after scoring a round of 288 (+17). Temple, Penn, St. Joseph's, Villanova and La Salle round out the leaderboard.

Villanova was led by freshman Matt Barnes who carded a round of 73 (+3). He finished tied for 5th place overall.

Senior Andy Butler finished second in Villanova's group after shooting a round of 75 (+5). He finished tied for 15th overall. Sophomore captain Connor Daly finished tied for 24th place after shooting a round of 78 (+8). Senior Andrew MacMillan and Senior Will Byrne finished tied for 26th place are carding rounds of 79 (+9). Reb Banas shot a round 84 (+14) and finished tied for 34th.

Villanova will return to the course for the spring season beginning in March.
