Annapolis, Md. - The Villanova men's golf team completed the Navy Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats shot rounds of 309-302 = 611 (+43) to finish in seventh place at the tournament, which was held at the par-71 Naval Academy Golf Course. George Mason won the team title with scores of 296-291 = 587 (+19), with St. John's, Saint Joseph's, Navy and Wagner rounding out the top five. George Mason's Kyle Hart earned medalist honors after finishing with an even-par 142.
Connor Daly led Villanova with rounds of 76-71 = 147 (+5) to tie for eighth place. Lucas Trim had a top 20 finish, tying for 19th place after carding scores of 75-75 = 150 (+8).
Andy Butler shot rounds of 75-81 = 156 (+14) to tie for 39th place, and Zach Egermayer finished two strokes behind Butler at 158 (+16) to tie for 45th place.

Villanova will play in the BIG EAST Championship from April 30-May 2 at the Callawassie Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.
