Jonesborough, Tn. – After a three-day, three-round tournament, Villanova Golf completes the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate finishing in 14
th place.
Host East Tennessee State won the tournament by one stroke over Louisville. ESTU finished with a total score of 832 (-32) and Louisville finished with a score of 833 (-31). Trailing them was Tennessee, Kent State, Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina, Missouri, East Carolina, UNCW, Penn State, Virginia, VCU, Furman, and Villanova.
Connor Daly finished with a score of 218 (+2),
Reb Banas finished at 223 (+7),
Matt Davis finished at 225 (+9),
Jack O'Hara finished at 231 (+15), and
Mark Benevento finished at 233 (+17).
Louisville's Simon Zach finished with the best score out of any golfer finishing with a score of 201 (-15). Shiso Go of ETSU finished just one stroke behind him in second place.
Golf will take next weekend off as they are set to compete in the Metropolitan Intercollegiate hosted by Wagner from October 28-29.
