West Orange, N.J. – The Wildcats are currently tied for fifth after round one of the Metropolitan Intercollegiate.
 
St. Peter's is the current leader with a score of +3. LIU-Brooklyn sits in second (+10), St. John's is in third (+12), Fairfield is in fourth (+15), and Villanova, Monmouth, and Fairleigh Dickinson are all tied for fifth (+18).
 
Connor Daly led the Cats and shot the sixth best round of the 90 golfers with a score of +1. Mark Benevento finished at +4, Jack O'Hara finished at +6, Reb Banas finished with a score of +7, and Matt Davis finished with a score of +8.
 
Danny Dougherty competing in the individual tournament finished with a score of +12.
 
Jefferey Peters of St. Peter's finished with the best round on the day shooting a -2.
