Galloway Township, N.J. – Villanova wrapped up their final tournament of the fall season Saturday afternoon with the CITY 6 Championship.
Villanova came in fourth place in the tournament. Temple won the CITY 6 Championship with a score of +28. Following the Owls were Drexel and St. Joseph's tied at +34, then Villanova finished with a score of +36. La Salle wrapped up the field with a total of +53.
Connor Daly and
Reb Banas led the way for the Cats finishing at +7 on the day.
Mark Benevento finished with a score of +10,
Jack O'Hara finished with a score of +12, and
Danny Dougherty and
Matt Davis round out the team with scores of +20 and +23 respectively.
Four players tied for the best score on the day, they were Sam Soeth of Temple, John Barone of Temple, Michael O'Brien of St. Joseph's, and Thomas Lewis of St. Joseph's. They all finished with a score of +5.
