Feb. 11, 2018 BETHLEHEM, Pa- The Men's Tennis team traveled to Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday afternoon to take on Lehigh. After clinching the doubles point, the Wildcats were unable to fend off the Mountain Hawks as they were edged, 4-3.
In doubles competition, Will Elmore and Tommy Mulflur finished first for the Wildcats as they won their match 6-2. Mike Czlonka and Stefan Suarez were next to win their match as Dodson and Roth finished last for the wildcats and helped them clinch doubles. The Wildcats went 3-0 in doubles.
Roth continued to have a strong day as he got things going for Villanova in singles with a victory in the two spot. Dylan Flanagan also won his singles match in three sets. In the five spot for the Wildcats was Mulflur as the match was tied. After a hard fought battle, he wasn't able to clinch the singles point but took his opponent to three sets.
Next up Men's Tennis will be on the road in Philadelphia, Pa. where they will take on Drexel. A time has not been set for the match.
