March 10, 2018 RIVERSIDE, Calif.- Villanova Men's Tennis concluded their trip to California on Saturday as they took on UC Riverside. The Wildcats were downed, 6-1.
In singles competition, Dylan Flanagan competed in the No. 3 spot where he picked up the sole victory for the Wildcats in three sets (6-3, 1-6, 6-3). Stefan Suarez took his opponent to three sets but was unable to secure the win (1-6, 6-2, 7-5). At the No. 2 spot, Tyler Roth also took UC Riverside to a third set but couldn't come up with the victory as he fell, 3-6, 7-5, 10-7.
Tommy Mulflur and Mike Czlonka competed in the No. 3 spot as they had a tough battle against Abdallah/Anderson but eventually would fall, 6-3.
The Wildcats will be back in action Friday, Mar. 23 as they travel to Indianapolis, Ind. to compete at Butler. Action is slated to begin at 2 p.m.
