March 30, 2018 VILLANOVA, Pa.- After having to move the match against Rider to the Bryn Mawr Racquet Club, the Wildcats were able to sweep the Broncs, 7-0.
Will Elmore and Stefan Suarez got things started for Villanova as they won their doubles match in the No. 1 spot, 6-1. Tommy Dodson and Tyler Roth captured a 6-2 victory in the No. 2 as Tommy Mulflur and Mike Czlonka won due to a walkover in the No. 3 spot.
In singles, Suarez won his match 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 1 spot. Roth, Dylan Flanagan, and Danny Nomura all swept their opponents 6-0, 6-0 to help the Wildcats capture the singles point and the match, 7-0.
Villanova will take the rest of Easter weekend off and will return to action when they host La Salle at 2:30 p.m. on Apr. 4.
