IRVINE, California- Villanova Men's Tennis competed at UC Irvine on Tuesday Afternoon. The Wildcats dropped the match, 7-0.

In singles, Alastair Hurry took his opponent to three sets in the No. 6 spot as he fell, 2-6,6-3,10-6. Stefan Suarez, Tyler Roth, Dylan Flanagan, Tommy Dodson, and Tommy Mulflur all had hard fought battle couldn't come out with the victory.

Doubles team consisting of Mike Czlonka and Mulflur competed in the No.3 spot as they had a hard-fought battle but came up short as they were edged by UC Irvine's Barthe/Krasnov, 7-5. Suarez and Will Elmore also had a strong match in the No. 2 spot but couldn't capture the victory as they fell, 6-4. In the No. 1 spot, Dodson and Roth were ahead 6-5 but didn't finish as UC Irvine clinched the doubles point.

Next, Villanova will remain in California as they travel to Riverside, Calif to take on UC Riverside. Action is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m. ET.
