April 14, 2018 HARRISONBURG, Va.- Villanova traveled to James Madison on Saturday afternoon where the Wildcats had a hard-fought battle but came up short, 6-1.
In doubles, Tommy Dodson and Mike Czlonka saw a tough battle in the No. 3 spot, but they couldn't come up with the win as they dropped their close scoring match, 7-5. Tyler Roth and Matt Phelps competed in the No. 2 spot where they came up short, 6-3.
Dylan Flanagan was the lone Villanova player to capture a singles victory as he downed his opponent in the No. 4 spot 3-6, 7-5, 10-5. Tyler Roth competed in the No. 2 spot where he took his opponent to three sets (6-3, 3-6, 10-4).
Up next for the Wildcats is a match at Richmond. The match is slated to begin at 12 p.m.
