Villanova, Pa.- Villanova women's soccer will open home play on Wednesday, August 22
nd when they host the James Madison Dukes. Kickoff is set for 4:00 P.M. at Higgins Soccer Complex and can be seen on Nova Nation All-Access.

The Wildcats fell in the season opener to Lafayette, 1-0. Austin led the Wildcats on offense against the Leopards taking a team high four shots while placing two on goal.
A Look at JMU: The Dukes are also 1-1 and are coming off a 3-0 won against Maryland in the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Invitational they hosted. JMU opened the season against Dayton and fell 2-1.
Leading the offense in the early season has been junior forward Haley Crawford who has a team high four points. She netted one goal against Maryland and assisted on the two others of the match. Ginger Deel, Abby Maltese, and Lizzy Lazzaro have all netted a goal this season with Deel also dishing out an assist. Hannah McShea played all 180 minutes in between the posts last weekend. She currently boasts a .800 save percentage and has eight saves over the first two games.
