Verona, N.Y. – Villanova has wrapped up their first tournament of the fall season Monday afternoon. They placed 16^th out of the 18 teams in the Turning Stone Tiger Invitational.
 
Connor Daly led the Wildcats in the tournament with a score of +8, Mark Benevento followed with a +16, then Matt Davis finished at +21, Reb Banas finished +23, and Jack O'Hara finished +26 in the team portion.
 
Danny Dougherty competed in the individual tournament and finished in 10^th with a score of +35.
 
Host Missouri won the tournament by a combined 29 strokes. They finished with a score of -16 and North Dakota State finished 2^nd with a score of +13.
 
Christian Cavaliere of Boston College had the top score of all golfers finishing the tournament -10.
 
The Wildcats will get back on the course this weekend for the Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John's in Farmingdale, N.Y.
