New York, N.Y.- The Villanova Wildcats had three named to All-BIG EAST Teams as announced by the conference office this afternoon.  Sophomore Brice McInroy earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors while Kristin Barbour was named to the Second Team and Jane Olcott earned All-Freshman Team honors.

McInroy is the first Wildcats to earn a spot on the All-BIG EAST First Team since 2011.  The sophomore leads the team with 20 points and has netted five game winning goals this season.  McInroy has scored a total of nine goals and dished out two assists with five of those goals coming in BIG EAST play.  

Barbour earns All-BIG EAST Second Team honors for the second straight season.  The captain who has been a staple at center back has helped the Wildcats defense register three shutouts in BIG EAST play and eight overall.  Barbour has netted two goals this season, both off free kicks, and had an assist on a goal at Temple. 

Olcott was named to the All-BIG EAST Freshman Team.  The rookie has seen action in every game this season for the Wildcats while starting in 15 at midfield.  Olcott dished out the assist on the game tying goal at Princeton this season and has taken 14 shots and placed six on goal. 

Villanova advanced to the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals after defeating DePaul 1-0 on Sunday afternoon in the first-round matchup.  The Wildcats, who are the #4 seed, will take on the #1 Xavier Musketeers this Thursday in Omaha, Neb.  Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 P.M. ET and can be seen on BEDN.
